If you have the Adjustment Brush targeted then hold the Shift key as you roll with the scroll wheel to adjust the feathering on the brush. Roll with the scroll wheel to adjust the brush size. To see this at work click any of these three tools to target it and then hold your mouse over the image. When you have the Spot Removal Tool, Red Eye Tool or the Adjustment Brush Tool selected you can size the brush to the desired size using the mouse scroll wheel. On a Mac multitouch trackpad or Magic Mouse, you may also use option + two finger scrolling. Hold down Alt/option and use your mouse’s scroll wheel. Type a magnification at the lower left of your image.
Choose the pop-down menu or type your an exact zoom percentage. Type a magnification value at the top of the screen. You can turn the Spotlight search shortcut off in System Preferences under Keyboard & Mouse (look under Keyboard Shortcuts). Tip: On the Mac, the Command+Spacebar conflicts with the default Spotlight search shortcut. Hold down Cmd/Ctrl+Spacebar to access the zoom tool.
